E-Ten G500
Published September 26th, 2006 in GPS PhonesE-Ten recently released the X-10, a dual-band receiver for DAB/DMB with entertainment applications. It has an FM receiver that is RDS-TMC capable. E-Ten has also launched the G500, a GPS PDA with mobile phone functions. The model uses SiRF StarIII chipset and runs on built-in Windows Mobile 5.0. Its mobile phone functions include support for

quadband GSM. It also supports GPRS Class B phone module and features Bluetooth 2.0 Class 2.
The compact G500 has a 65,536-color TFT LCD that supports 240×320pixel resolution. The touchscreen LCD features navigation buttons, power buttons, quick application buttons, send buttons, record buttons and volume control that can be activated through a stylus or the fingertips. The model comes with a 1.3MP digital camera and flashlight.
The G500 is packed with voice and video recorder functions, built-in microphones, speakers and stereo headset jacks. It supports PIM, IMAP and POP 3. It delivers MMS, SMS, e-mail, and supports MSN Messenger on top of Internet browsing and games.
The G500 uses rechargeable and replaceable 1440mAh Li-ion batteries. It supports up to 4hr talk time and 200hr standby time for mobile phone use, as well as 15hr for PDA use and 5hr for GPS use.
